Trent Ohm is running?!?! A MARATHON?!?!

To everyone's shock, surprise, and amazement I started running about a year ago. My wife started a couch to 5K program and inspired me to run a few miles one morning. It felt incredible. My distances kept growing from there. As my miles increased, that nagging voice in the back of my mind kept getting louder and louder, 'You could run a marathon.'

I'm excited to fundraise for Concordia's new Center for Literacy, renovated Fitness Center and continuing mission of sharing the Gospel. Who doesn't love reading, exercise, and learning about Jesus? Okay, some people don't love reading, exercise and ancient languages, but I think we can all agree that they are noble pusuits. They are. Trust me. My wife says so. The Center for Literacy enables Concordia to reach out to the community in a new way. The Fitness Center not only benefits current faculty and students, but also attracts sporty new students that will make alumni proud.

My wife and numerous friends that attended Concordia benefited from previous donors. I look forward to fundraising and contributing to a better Concordia for future alumni.
